Options for Shaft Joint Designs

	Coupling type with plug weld.
	Coupling type with circumferencial weld.
	Coupling type with off-axis pin(s) - 1 or 2 sets of 1 or 2. Note: much greater shear area than on-axis pins and lower stress concentration on journal.
	Coupling type with on-axis pin(s) - 1 or 2 at 90°.

Non-Coupling Types

	Plug weld type with optional pin(s) and optional pilots.
	Off-axis (tangential) pin(s) - 1 or 2 may be used. Note: Much greater shear area than on axis pins and lower stress concentration on journal.
	Butt weld type with optional pin(s) and optional pilots.
	Pilots may be threaded for higher loading.
	On-axis pin(s) - 1 or 2 at 90°.
